At Kapimuni, we know that buying men’s wellness products is personal. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website or place an order, why we collect it, and how we keep it private. We process personal data under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, phone number, email and delivery address when you order or create an account; messages you send us; reviews you choose to post; your email if you subscribe to offers.
- Collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, and cookies.
- Payments: card, UPI and net-banking details are entered directly with our payment partners. We never see or store your full card number.
- Health information: we do not ask for it. If you share health details while asking a question, we use them only to answer you, never for marketing.
2. How we use it
- To process, ship and deliver orders, including cash-on-delivery confirmation
- To send order confirmations and shipping updates
- To answer questions and handle returns or refunds
- To prevent fraud and fake orders
- To improve our website and products
- To send offers and wellness tips, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Your privacy on every parcel
Every order ships in a plain outer box. The product name and the word “Kapimuni” do not appear on the parcel or shipping label.
4. Who we share it with
We never sell or rent your personal data. We share only what is needed with courier partners (to deliver), payment partners (to process payments and refunds), Shopify (which hosts our store), messaging and email tools (for order updates and, if you opted in, offers), analytics and advertising tools (anonymous browsing data), and government authorities when required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for 8 years as required by Indian tax law. Other data is kept while your account is active or until you ask us to delete it.
6. Cookies
Cookies keep items in your cart, remember your login and show us which pages are useful. You can block cookies in your browser; some features, such as the cart, may then stop working.
7. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you can ask for a summary of the data we hold, correct or update it, ask us to delete it (except where the law requires us to keep it), withdraw marketing consent, nominate someone to act for you, and raise a grievance. Email us from your registered email or phone; we respond within 7 working days.
8. Security
Our website uses SSL encryption and payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant partners. Access to customer data is limited to staff who need it.
9. Age
Our products are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
