A bhasma is a classical Ayurvedic preparation made by processing a metal or mineral through repeated purification and heating steps described in the texts of Rasa Shastra, the Ayurvedic branch that deals with minerals. Swarna Bhasma is the bhasma made from gold.
Why gold?
In Ayurveda, Swarna Bhasma is traditionally regarded as a premium rasayana – a preparation used to support overall vitality. It is used in very small amounts, often just a milligram or less per serving, and almost always combined with herbs.
Why the source matters
Because a bhasma goes through so many steps, the quality depends entirely on how it is made. That is why bhasma-based products should only come from manufacturers licensed by the Ministry of Ayush. Kapimuni Shilajit Gold is made by Ambroshia Healthscience, Bathinda (Ayush Mfg. Lic. No. 821 Ay-Pb), and the amount of Swarna Bhasma is listed on the label.
Use it as directed
- Never take more than the dose on the label.
- Do not combine several bhasma products without advice.
- Speak to a qualified Ayurvedic doctor if you are unsure, have a health condition, or take regular medication.
