Safed Musli (Chlorophytum borivilianum) is a small plant whose white roots have long been used in Ayurveda. It grows in the forests of central and western India and is now also cultivated by farmers across the country.
A Balya herb
Ayurveda groups herbs by what they are traditionally used for. Safed Musli is described as Balya (strength-giving) and Vrishya (supporting male vitality). That is why it is a common ingredient in classical rasayana formulas made for men.
How it is used
The dried root is powdered and usually combined with other herbs such as Ashwagandha, Shatavari and Gokhru, rather than taken alone. In Kapimuni, Safed Musli appears in Revive, Ts-GO and Shilajit Gold – and the exact amount is printed on every label.
Make it part of a routine
- Take your formula at the same time every day.
- Pair it with regular exercise and enough protein.
- Give it time – Ayurveda recommends steady use over a few months.
If you have a medical condition or take regular medication, speak to a qualified doctor before starting any herbal supplement.
